Annette O'Toole Biography
Annette O'Toole (born April
1 1952) is an American dancer, actress and singer-songwriter. She is perhaps most well-known for portraying Lisa Bridges
in the TV Series Nash Bridges, Beverly Marsh in the It miniseries, Lana Lang in
Superman III, Elaine, the girlfriend of Nick Nolte's character on 48 Hrs. The
lead role, Kathy, in the romantic comedy Cross My Heart; and more recently for
portraying Martha Kent, the mother of Clark Kent, on the television series
Smallville. Annette Toole, daughter of
Dorothy Geraldine (nee Niland), as well as William West Toole Jr. was Annette
Toole. Her mother taught dance and O'Toole
herself began learning when she was just three years old. She began taking acting classes following the move of her
family to Los Angeles when she was 13 years old. Her first appearance on television was in 1967 in the show
The Danny Kaye Show, and was followed by the following years with guest
appearances in shows such as My Three Sons, The Virginian, Gunsmoke, Hawaii
Five-O and The Partridge Family. Annette
is an alumna of West Los Angeles. She
began dancing at three upon her mother's teaching. When she was 14 years old, her family moved to Los Angeles,
where she started her acting career through certain TV shows and stage shows. She went to Hollywood Professional School, where she studied
and graduated
